Returns and Warranty

EXTENDED
WARRANTY:
Our store offers a 30-day return policy. For after these 30-day period
of time the customer can purchase, for a low fee, plans for up to 5 YEARS WARRANTY
from the day of purchase. To view all extended warranty plans available

here. in order to protect their valuable investments for as
long as possible, the customer is strongly recommended that they
purchase a warranty plan at the time of purhase of their products.
Our 30-day return policy:
RETURNS:
In case an
item puchased on this site proves to be defective, or not as described,
it can be
returned back to us within 30 days from the day of purchase. We will replace it or fix it
for you, whichever iPelagos.com finds more appropriate, at no
extra charge. iPelagos.com reserves the right to decide whether the
defective item will be repaired, replaced or issued a refund for. This 30-day warranty offered by iPelagos.com covers only defects that would normally be covered by the manufacturer's limited warranty. Defects that are caused by misuse or abuse of the customer are not covered by our 30-day warrant. Items
may be returned at the
buyer's expense only. For all
returns, buyer should contact us first to obtain an RMA
(Return-Merchandise Authorization). If an order, or an item in an
order, arrives not as described this must be reported within 48 hours
from the time of receipt. No returns, for any reason, will be
accepeted after this 30-day time period. For more details read the
"Defective Item Return" paragraph below.
Our
WARRANTY:
We only accept returns within the first 30 days from the day purchase.
No returns will be accepted after these 30 days for no reason
whatsoever. After that, some of the products come with the 1-year
International
Limited Warranty. Note that, in case your product needs
to be repaired, the manufacturer might not necessarily have an ASP
(Authorized Service Provider) in Cyprus so you will have to send it to
the nearest-to-Cyprus ASP in Europe. iPelagos.com can,
at our discretion,
assist you in this process, if applicable. To find out if and how
their purhases are covered under the manufacturer's warranty in Cyprus,
the customer is solely responsible to contact the manufacturer directly.
The
fine print
- iPelagos.com
does not cover the shipping cost to our Return Good Office; we will,
however, ship replacements to you at no cost.
- We
recommend using a traceable shipping method (Federal Express, UPS, DHL,
etc.); iPelagos.com is not responsible for any lost or damaged items
during shipment to the Return Office.
- Depending
on stock and availability of product, iPelagos.com will send your
replacement/repaired product within 14 business days.
- The
warranty on your replacement/repaired product is for the balance of the
orginal warranty.

Returns:
Returns of a product, other than
the defect-item scenario discussed above, are subject to a 20%
restocking
fee. In any case, however, NO returns, under any circumstances, are
allowed after 30 days from the day of purchase. It is the buyer's
responsibility to
check that the items bought are compatible with their existing systems,
goods, network, ISP, or telephone systems. Even though we make an
effort to ensure compatibility of all products sold on iPelagos.com
with the Cyprus standards (gsm networks etc) the customer is still
responsible to double check before they purchase.
Customers requesting shipping to countries other than Cyprus
are 100% responsible to make sure that what they are purchasing will be
compatible with their existing systems,
goods, gsm network, ISP, or telephone systems. No returns whatsoever
will be accepted for orders going to countries other than
Cyprus, due to incompatibility reasons. However, if an item is
defective it should be returned within 15 days from the day of receipt
at the customer's expense. NO returns whatsoever, for any reason, will
be accepted after this 15-day time period.
Defective
Item Return
Customer MUST CAREFULLY PACK defective items being returned, including
ALL original accessories, packaging and manuals, as if they
were new and working. Failure to do so may invalidate the RMA
Returns are permitted within 30 days from the date of purchase of
merchandise. Returned merchandise will be accepted by iPelagos.com only
if all conditions A, B,
C, D below are met. Shipping and handling charges are not
refundable. We are not responsible for any shipping and handling
charges of merchandise being returned to us for any reason. Returned
items may be subject to a 20% restocking fee even if they are returned
within the 30-day period, unless defective!
A) All
returns must include original factory box, original factory packaging
(foam, plastic, wrappings, etc.) blank, unfilled warranty cards, all
instruction booklets and paperwork. Do not deface original factory
cartons or packaging in any manner. We will not accept a return if
packaging is not in its original condition so make sure that during
that 30-day timeframe you keep all materials that came with your
product.
B) All
returned merchandise must be in its original mint and clean condition.
Returns on damaged or scratched merchandise will not be accepted. Units
that are defective may need to go back to the manufacturer for service
directly and not be shipped to our facilities.
C) All
returns must include all the factory accessories which come with the
item. For example, a camera must be returned with its original battery,
charger, cords, straps, etc. No returns will be accepted if any of
these packed accessories are missing.
D) All
returns must be authorized by iPelagos.com Electronics. Send us an
email for authorization number and instructions prior to shipping any
merchandise back. Enclose the original receipt or a copy of it with
your return.
NOTE:
Returned merchandise which is lost or damaged in transit is not our
responsibility. Please insure your return with your carrier. It is your
responsibility to file claims with the carrier upon the discovery of
the problem.
**Due to a certain verification process we are required to ship to the
address where you receive your monthly credit card statements. In the
event that you would like to ship to your another address, we require
that you list that address with your credit card company as an
alternate ship address.
