Sony Ericsson unwrapped the C902 Cyber-shot candybar
handset this evening, before the start of the 2008 Mobile World
Congress that is being held in Barcelona, Spain. This slender handset
is only 10.5mm (.4") thick and packs a 5 megapixel camera with
auto-focus, red-eye reduction, facial recognition, and BestPic. BestPic
allows you to take 9 shots in rapid succession, then choose the best
ones and delete the rest - perfect for capturing life in action.
The C902 has 160MB of internal memory in addition to the Memory Stick
Micro (M2) card slot with plenty of room for expansion. Quad-band GSM
(850/900/1800/1900MHz) and WCDMA (2100MHz) is also included along with
Bluetooth 2.0 with A2DP for stereo headsets. The Access NetFront full
HTML mobile web browser is pre-installed and the C902 supports Sony
Ericsson's PlayNow music store.
